KATHLEEN E. 'KATHY' HUNTER, 63 OREGON - Kathleen E. "Kathy" Hunter, 63, of Oregon died Monday, March 15, 2010, in her home. Born Aug. 13, 1946, in Belvidere; the daughter of Earl A. and Bernice M. (Rehfeldt) Nordmeyer. Graduate of Belvidere High, Class of 1965. Married Larry J. Hunter on Nov. 22, 1969, in Garden Prairie. She lived in Oregon since 1976, moving from Marengo, and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America. Kathy enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking and her grandchildren. Survived by husband, Larry of Oregon; daughters, Janice R. Hunter of Chicago and Aimee M. (Eric) Hoffman of Lawson, Mo.; granddaughters, Katherine, Caroline and Emma Hoffman; brother, Earl (Beverly) Nordmeyer of Elgin; sister, Darlene A, Bergeron of Belvidere; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, and sisters, Linda Nordmeyer and Susan Clark. Special thanks go out to close friends, Karen, Diane, Kathy, Nancy and Colleen. Christian Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Oregon, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.; the Rev. Richard Kramer will celebrate the Mass.
