Sandra L. Brenner (nee Wheeler), beloved wife of Jan Brenner, passed away on November 24, 2022 of a sudden illness.

Sandra was an amazing woman. Not only did she deeply love her husband and friends, she also cared deeply for all of the people that she came across as a registered nurse, rising from floor nurse to Vice President of her healthcare institution. She was involved in Red Hatters, Crystal Lake Women’s Club, Crystal Lake Food Pantry, as well as many other organizations. She never came across a person in need without helping them. Sandra loved to travel and did so extensively in the Caribbean, Europe, and Mexico. Jan would call her “my little gypsy”.

Finally, her love transcended people. She was an avid dog lover. Her favorite dog was Titan, who she saved from a high kill shelter in Kentucky.

Jan knows that he will see her again in Heaven. “Until we meet again – your loving husband of 51 years.”
