Jeannette Bates Fitzgerald

Jeannette Elizabeth Bates Fitzgerald, 66, of Eden Hills Road, Siler City died Monday, February 10, 2014 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.

Ms. Fitzgerald was born in Belvidere, Illinois on May 30, 1947 the daughter of Nelson Dewey and Ilda Mae (Taylor) Bates. She was a retired accountant and was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Margaret Maitland and Arlene Schuler.

She is survived by one son: James P. Fitzgerald and wife, Asli Ece of Mary Esther, FL; twin sister: Jennifer B. Strickland of Siler City, NC, sisters; Madelyn Bates of Delavan, WI, and Kathryn B. Boyd of Winnemucca, NV.
